Food Import and Export Management Information System (FIEMIS):

In support of the UAE's digital transformation and trade infrastructure development, ADAFSA launched a project to manage food import and export information in June 2022. The Food Import and Export Management Information System (FIEMIS) provides a single window for importers and exporters to submit and track orders, in addition to facilitating procedures for imported food products based on the database available to ADAFSA and its partners.

It also provides the service of releasing imported food shipments before the shipment arrives at the port, as well as tracking import and export orders. The scope of the platform includes registering and converting all food import and export activities to a unified control platform that will cover field operations based on the risk-based system, business operations, and service automation. The food import and export platform is a success story for digital transformation and the development of trade infrastructure, and contributes to the sustainable development of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the United Arab Emirates.

ADAFSA has launched an online platform called "Zadna Rating" to provide the public with access to food establishments' evaluation results based on their food safety level. Additionally, it provides a separate assessment of the establishment's participation in the Sehhi programme of the Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre. The aim is to enhance the efforts of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi to provide safe and healthy food to the public through innovative and flexible systems and to encourage and motivate food establishments to improve and develop their performance and raise the level of food safety in the Emirate.
