The festival is one of the most prominent​ annual cultural and heritage events held in the Al Dhafra Region of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It is organized to celebrate Emirati heritage and traditions, and features a wide range of activities and competitions that reflect authentic customs, including camel beauty contests, camel races, falconry displays, bird racing, as well as classical and Nabati poetry competitions.
