Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority initiatives(ADFCA) is consistent with the orientations of the government to follow the smart methodologies in everything related to the functional tasks, whether at the level of the staff themselves or for the benefit of the public.
The embodiment of this approach, ADFCA application launched smart mobile application to act as service smart platform, which provides for its employees and to the public interactive services to facilitate their work, the application provides the information and data and maps of the ADFCA as well as an updated list of rumors food and administrative facilities closures and products withdrawn or returned or seized, along with angled awareness of food safety issues and news releases published about the ADFCA.
The application includes also information and interactive services to customers, including agricultural and veterinary services, can also choose to search within specific categories such as administrative offices and customers service centers and veterinary clinics and fodder distribution centers, feed and irrigation stations and research and warehouses, as well as links social media channels different, such as Facebook and Twitter, in addition to allowing user application access to all policies and legislation issued by the ADFCA
The application also includes an introductory project aside "SALAMT ZADNA," which is a workable system for food safety management of food establishments of small and independent in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. It was developed by the Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority after comparisons of standard and wide and local research intensive. The system represents the minimum ADFCA requirements needed to achieve food safety, only to encourage food establishments to upgrade to higher levels will be through a process of continuous improvement in the long term.
